Design ProcessI custom draw each and every tattoo design suited to my client's vision. I spend a great deal of time to make your tattoo design unique. Each design I draw is a one-off design and will be tattooed once only for you! Artistic freedom is always much appreciated when I am designing your tattoo so I can draw it in a way that lets me to tattoo it to the best of my ability. With this in mind and respect for other tattoo artists I will not tattoo someone else's design. A lot of time goes into every design so the more information you can provide the better the outcome will be. This includes design idea, style (neotraditonal, realistic, dotwork), and colour-black/grey. It is also helpful to provide reference images of the design and pictures of the area you would like tattooed. Everyone has a different body shape so these photos help me to create the design to best suit you. Please keep in mind reference images will only be used as inspiration. Everything I tattoo will be designed specifically to you and will be a bespoke piece. I will give as much professional feedback as possible in order to give you the best outcome and long-lasting tattoo I can. There are certain styles of tattooing I am best at but in some cases if I am not comfortable and cannot give you exactly what you are envisioning, I will point you in the direction of someone who can give you what you are after. Please feel free to ask though as I am open to many styles of tattooing and I can often adjust the design to best suit my abilities while still meeting your vision. Once I have received the above information I will discuss your design via messages. however, you would prefer a telephone or in person consultation I can accommodate these options. Please reach out and I will discuss in person consultation rates.

Tattoo aftercareEveryone has a different opinion how to heal there tattoo, This is the way i recommend for healing your tattoo to get the best end result possible. Pease do not take your friends advice unless run by me first. Things to have close by for the week or two of your tattoo healing -anti bacterial wet wipes (baby wipes) -vitamin E cream non scented (do not use paw paw cream) DO NOT swim with fresh tattoo until healed DO NOT let tattoo get burnt or expose in direct sun light DO NOT pick or scratch tattoo Try not to bump rub or rest your fresh tattoo on anything If you have a job that is dusty/dirty enviroment please cover with loose clothing that covers tattoo and wear nothing that will rub and irritate tattoo. do not bandage tattoo, wrap with anything or apply anything to your tattoo that i haven’t advised unless we have spoken about this. If in the rare case your tattoo does get exposed to dust/dirt and look infected at all please don’t hesitate to contact me! first night with fresh tattoo Once tattoo is complete i will clean and cover with cling film, If you choose to have a shower that evening remove cling film wash, pad dry and re wrap again like i had done .. I like to keep the tattoo wrapped the first night, The reason for this is your tattoo will weep over night and if you remove the cling film the weeping can create a very thick scabbing or dry to bed sheets and damage your tattoo when trying to pull sheets from fresh tattoo. leaving the tattoo wrapped over night will avoid this. Day 1 You will notice your tattoo has a lot of weeping and excess ink under cling film Remove cling film and have a shower, you will no longer wrap your tattoo up with cling film after this is removed! wash the tattoo with warm soapy water gently until all weeping and excess ink is gone, please use pump soap bottle (not a bar as there can be bacteria on this) Once finished in shower pad dry and wipe down with wet wipes gently. you will notice there will still be some excess ink coming of when using wet wipes , i choose to do this just to get it that little bit cleaner before the healing process starts. I like to let the tattoo dry out for a couple of hours before applying cream. When creaming your tattoo you will only need a very thin layer, you don’t want your new tattoo swimming in cream or this can result in tattoo not healing to it full potential. For the first day cream 2-3 times Showering from now until your tattoo is healed you will want to keep to a minimum. keep showers short and try not to get the tattoo overly wet. getting the tattoo really wet can result in thick scabbing and ink wanting to reject from your tattoo. while sleeping tonight try not to sleep on top of tattoo if possible. Day 2 day 2 will be continued till your tattoo is healed Morning of day two and following days. Use wet wipes and clean tattoo occasionally throughout the days ahead, please do not overly wipe or cream, 3 times maximum for each. The less interfering with tattoo the better. Space out cleaning and creaming of your tattoo e.g morning, midday and night Over the next 1-2 weeks your tattoo will slowing start to flake off. please refrain from picking and scratching. It may look like the flacking will come off easily and you want to help it but the new skin underneath is very thin and will open up and bleed easily resulting in tattoo needing to be touched up. When flacking is at it peak creaming can be difficult but it is very important at this point to keep lightly moisturised. i find creaming and then dabbing with a paper towel after very helpful to stop thick cream getting built up in areas flacking off. Once flacking off has finished continue creaming for a few more weeks to keep the skin nice and moisturised as the skin is still very dry. Once flacking off has finished it is totally fine to swim from now on but still be very careful with sun protection. Any questions what so ever do hesitate to contact me and ask.

Preparing for my appointmentHere are a few things that you might need to know or help you on the day of your appointment. It is important to have a nutritious meal before your appointment, tattooing takes a lot out of you and having a good meal before your appointment that will give you plenty of energy will help a lot, having snacks and water for the day will help too. Wear appropriate clothing for your appointment e.g wear loose comfortable clothing. Ensure the area to be tattooed can be accessed easily. I do not recommend using numbing cream or taking any really strong pain killers on the day of your appointment, however if you are concerned about the pain please ask before applying or taking anything and i can give you my opinion what is the best option.
